The staples of their everyday speech, the adjectives and modifiers one leans on for comfort…everyone has them, right?
Well, here are mine:
-idealistic: I regularly label things as idealistic, even if it doesn’t necessarily apply. The generous way people label things as ‘ignorant’, is how I use idealistic.
-Self righteous: Being one who can get started on a self righteous rant real quick…I don’t often shy from calling this when I see it.
-Narcissistic: Pretty much the same case as with ‘self righteous’.
-“With that being said……”: When I don’t know where to take a point, I usually head off with this phrase. I’m pretty sure I picked it up from my mom and her various legal stand-offs. (my mom more often says, “So, now the question becomes…” though)
-Propaganda: I love labeling things as propaganda…it’s just a fun word for me.
